This is an advanced course for the Big Bible concepts. This course will explain the beautiful harmony between the Bible and the findings of modern science. To keep things simple, we focus on the first chapter of Genesis, the beautiful summary of the creation of our universe, the earth, creatures and mankind. This one chapter of Genesis 1 captures highlights of the different stages of creation, which we will explain more fully in this course.
This course assumes some familiarity with basic scientific concepts. This advanced course goes into more detail than the Picture Book introductions. We still utilize pictures throughout this course because they can make it easier at times to grasp the context of what is being described. But we also provide more in-depth descriptions as pertains to the Hebrew used in Genesis 1 and also provide references to the scientific literature to back up the assertions made in the scientific explanations.
