The Wisdom of Caution
Throughout the history of mankind, there are numerous examples of scientists writing off the Bible as out of date and irrelevant. There are also numerous examples of religion disregarding scientific facts in favor of certain assumptions about the Bible. These disputes have led to violence and wars in some cases. It is therefore wise to maintain some caution as we make associations between the Scriptures and science.

Since science is by nature in a state of continued questioning and discovery, scientific hypotheses are often just that – hypotheses. Only over time to these hypotheses come to be considered closer to scientific laws versus theories.
