The Unfathomable Patience of the LORD is a Firm Foundation for our Faith
A good case can be made that for many people the realization that our Creator God has spent over 13.5 billion years preparing humanity for this moment in history can bring a wonder and awe that is first of all, difficult to believe. Then after the truths of old earth creationism have sunk deeply into our understanding, it is a foundation that is difficult to take away. It breathes new depth into the wisdom from Isaiah 55:9.
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

The Unfathomable Power of the LORD and the Promise for Our Future
Realizing that our Creator God has prepared for over 13.5 billion years to send Jesus into the world, then that is all the more reason to believe that the world that our Creator God has prepared for us in the new heavens and earth is beyond what we can ask or imagine. We have hints of this in 1 Corinthians 2:9.
nor the heart of man imagined,
what God has prepared for those who love him”
